Margaret Andrews’ latest book, Adventures in Blogville: A Creative Writing Guide for Teens is an entertaining, yet instructional book that teaches young, beginning, or intermediate writers how to write engaging prose, be it for blog posts, essays or other stories. A great resource for homeschooling. (Written in family-family language.)
Margaret is also the author of Sticky Readers: How To Attract a Loyal Blog Audience by Writing More Better, a humorous and helpful (and slightly PG-13) book that teaches bloggers how to write more engaging content. She also has a blogging tutorial site of the same name: Sticky Readers.
Margaret currently serves as Communication Director for Boldly Me, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to build individual self esteem for those who feel different.
She was a Producer/Director of the Listen to Your Mother Show, Sacramento from 2013-14.
She is also a Founder of Sacramento Bloggers.
After 20+ years in the IT industry as a software developer, project manager, business analyst and technical writer, she now writes in various capacities. Her writing has been published on Carmichael Patch, ABC News10, CBS Local Sacramento, and The Sacramento Bee websites.
She has also written content for the video game Coconut Queen by iWin Games, and has stories published in literary journals such as Toasted Cheese and Long Story Short.
